Anaesthesiology is the branch of medicine that deals with the cancellation of pain and consciousness during surgery or during an invasive procedure. Resuscitation takes care of the patient in critical condition and the treatment and restoration of vital functions compromised by the onset of an acute disease or a traumatic event.
